The Bar and Restaurant
Food at The Chilworth is beautifully simple, prepared with flair, and sourced with care, always from growers and suppliers we know and trust from around the United Kingdom. Fresh, seasonal ingredients sing in every dish, served straight from our open kitchen. Whether a lazy, graze-y lunch, a three-course dinner or a bite in the bar before a night-cap or two, this is a place to take pleasure in eating well, without the fuss.

The restaurant

Modern art adorns the warm, wood-panelled walls of The Chilworth’s restaurant, a bright, buzzy all-day eatery with an uncomplicated approach to food. Take a table by the window for coffee and the papers, or retreat to a cosy alcove for an intimate dinner. In between, you’ll find freshly prepared breakfasts, juices and smoothies, wholesome lunches and enticing afternoon teas.

The bar

After dinner, let the evening evolve in The Chilworth’s cosy bar, a snug but spirited spot that’s hard to resist for its well-chosen wines, medley of local beers and intriguing cocktails to complement the enduring clas-sics. There are equally moreish mocktails too, for the health-conscious tippler.

Afternoon Tea

A pleasure so rarely afforded by modern life, the time-honoured tradition of afternoon tea is taken seriously at The Chilworth. Take time out of your day to indulge in this quintessentially English affair, accompanied by a glass of chilled champagne if the fancy takes you.

Menus include the Classic Best Afternoon Tea in London with buttery, just-baked scones, delicate finger sandwiches and delicious mini-cakes, a Chocolate Afternoon Tea with a little extra cocoa kick, and an Indian After-noon Tea for more adventurous taste buds. Served with the finest JING teas, the connoisseur’s choice, it’s an experience to savour.
