It gets pretty busy during some of the larger events, so it always helps to plan your trip in advance where possible. This guide to some of the biggest and best sports events in 2019 should help you do just that…

2019 FINA/CNSG Diving World Series

London Aquatics Centre / 17th – 19th May

The London Aquatics Centre hosted a wide range of diving and swimming events in 2015, and this year the venue will play host to a key event ahead of 2020’s Olympic Games in Tokyo. For sports fans, this final leg of pre-Olympics preparations is particularly exciting. Wwimming and diving have become particular successes for UK athletes, with the nation winning bronze, silver and gold at recent events.

2019 SLS World Skateboarding Tour

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park / 26th –28th May

Street League Skateboarding might not be known to those outside of the skateboarding world, but to fans it’s a major part of the sporting calendar. Founded in 2010, this competitive series is an international event, as well as boasting the largest cash prize in skateboarding. As the first event of its kind, the World Skateboarding Tour focuses on street skateboarding and grades competitors by their tricks, timing and overall performance, to the delight of crowds from around the globe.

Wimbledon Championships
